Tour description
Half day excursion to discover the fantastic and unique scenery of Mount Etna, an immersion in nature between lunar landscape and green forests.
Pick up 15:30 – drop off 21:00
Passing off road through trazzere, where we can see two lava flows (1634/1792), where our guide will explain the fauna and flora of volcano Etna, telling you the mount Etna history.
Direction Bove Valley, the ancient caldera formed about 64,000 years ago due to a collapse of two major eruptive centers.
Guided equipped with helmets and flashlights in one of the lava caves (cave body).
Arrive at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level where we can admire the silvestri craters, the lava flows of the 2001/2003 and a great view of Catania.
