Passing off road through trazzere, where we can see two lava flows (1634/1792), where our guide will explain the fauna and flora of volcano Etna, telling you the mount Etna history.
Direction valley of the ox, the ancient caldera formed about 64,000 years ago due to a collapse of two major eruptive centers.
Arrive at an altitude of 2000 meters above sea level where we can admire the silvestri craters, the lava flows of the 2001/2003 and a great view of Catania.
By cable car and minibus we get to 2920m.above where led by alpine guides it begins a fantastic and unique trekking to the base of the summit craters, where you can enjoy safely the craters are currently active. ( this tour does not include the ascent to central crater)( the tour doesn’t include € 79 cable car and minibus).
Stop in tourist area for lunch.
